The 16th annual National Jewellery Student Competition Exhibition
at the L. A. Pai Gallery, 13 Murray St., Byward Market

Join us for the opening Vernissage on August 17th from 2-4pm. Celebrate with the students and find out the winner of the competition when it is announced at 3pm.
The Exhibition will include the five Finalists of the 16th Annual National Jewellery Student Competition: Anja Sucura from NBCCD New Brunswick; Philippe Crisafi and Constance Fortin from Ecole de Joaillerie de Montréal, Montreal; and Lena Binnington and Marina Kim from George Brown College,Toronto.
The finalists were selected from degree-granting institutions across Canada based on technical excellence, ingenuity, and strength of creative vision. We are pleased that all or most of the students will be present for the opening Vernissage which will take place on Saturday, August 17th from 2-4 pm.
The Jurors of the competition participate magnanimously by sharing their time and expertise, and by extending their encouragement to the students from amidst their busy lives. Thank you to this year's Jury Members: Cheryl Albuquerque, artist and collector; Flavio Belli, art consultant, curator, artist and collector; Gilles Latour, Principal, GR Latour Consulting, Treasurer at the Canadian Society of Decorative Arts, Development Officer at Craft Ontario, Chair on the Governance Committee of the Canadian Crafts Federation; Donald McLean, Senior Specialist in the Jewellery and Watch Department at Waddington's Auction House; and Rose-McLean, Executive Editor of Ornamentum Magazine and Assistant Jewellery Specialist at Waddington's Auction House.
