Electric Fields 2010

The capital region's most cutting edge festival returns this fall.

Electric Fields is a biennial festival of electronic art and music. It will return this fall from November 3rd to 7th for 5 days of installations, audio-visual presentations and new music performances. The programming is still in progress but we have confirmed some very exciting collaborations.

The Ottawa Art Gallery will open their show thelivingeffect curated by Caroline Seck-Langill.
This show focuses on artists who have examined what new media artist Norman white called the "living effect".

Artengine and the City of Ottawa will present Capital Electric, a show of locally produced electronic art, at The Karsh-Mason Gallery.

The Rabbit Hole Media spotlight will bring several large scale holographic works out of the Rabbit Hole studio for public consumption. With a long list of impressive international clients some of these works will never have been seen in Canada before.

With many more elements in development including sterescopic, installations, A-V mix tapes, 3D parties and more! this year's festival will be a collection of events not to be missed!
