About a decade ago I stepped back from large projects, from painting on canvas, and started working in small format.  This small format work ranges from photo-montage with collage, to drawing with the addition of collage, to work with coloured pencils with or without collage or tape.   One basic theme is men at work, either men at war or men and technology.   The other theme is the natural and historical landscape of  Ontario.  The first theme is photo-based and representational, while the second is imaginary and non-representational except for bits and pieces.   And I continued to draw from “nature”, my Hospital work and PBS drawings.   All of the above work is in the Gallery..

The Archive of the website covers work before 2000: my acrylic paintings and sculptures in wood,  paintings and drawings of the three-member JAC collective (1980s), mixed media work and sculpture of united artists, Gerrard Pook and I (late 1980s), drawings and jottings in the Casey House guest book of Clarence Barnes (1935-1995).
