The Artlist Funding Drive is here again and we are hoping you can help us reach our goal for $1,500.00 in donations. The funding drive is our simple way to raise funds for the ongoing development of the free Artlist service. For the next two weeks every email that goes out on the list will contain a Pay Pal donation link. Please donate what you can as every little bit helps!

At donors request charitable receipts will be issued for donations over $15.00.

Community Calendar

The Community Calendar was our last major change to the Artlist, and we continue to invest in its evolution. Adding on to the simple Today, Tomorrow and Upcoming interface we now include two new views of regional events. The Ongoing view allows you to see what gallery shows are up around town, as only the opening event will appear in the regular event section, and the Submissions view lets you see all the calls for work with deadlines approaching. All of the postings now contain social networking links for Twitter and Facebook, and can also be easily added to your iCal or Google Calendar so you don't miss the event.

Artlist One

We are currently working on a major change to the Artlist email service, and late this spring the Artlist will change from its current format of multiple text-based emails into a single daily html email. This will reduce the clutter in your inbox and simplify the process of reviewing the posted events. It will also allow us to integrate the same social networking and personal calendar features from our Community Calendar into the Artlist emails.

The design will be simple and elegant, and most importantly the process for posting to the list will remain the same. You send us your emails and we broadcast your event to over 1600 subscribers for free.

Once the change over to Artlist One is complete we also hope to run our first poster campaign for the list. We hope to break the 2000 subscriber mark before the summer and bring the quality independent cultural events posted here to an even wider audience.
