Mike Yuhasz is concerned with industrial development in the Yukon. In his work mining equipment appears sculptural, like a relic -- idealized, beautiful and forboding. And at the same time, it is a trace of the actual processes of land use. “Long Haul” is one of three stereoscopic images that is part of his larger project, Sites: Great North Development Group.
